Aequs Aerospace specializes in precision machining for AeroSystems, Aerostructures, landing gear and engine components, sheet metal fabrication, forging, surface treatment, aerostructure assembly along with testing and prototyping of components. With the 250+ acre Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Belagavi, Aequs Aerospace has a vertically integrated ecosystem: essentially co-located capabilities that could deliver an end-to-end manufacturing value stream and is the first Indian aerospace company to offer delivery capability on three continents; India, United States, and France. The core business of the company is the precision machining of Aerostructures and Aerosystems components with a capacity of over one million machining hours/year. Facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art VMC, HMC, and FMS machining capabilities that follow robust systems and processes approved by major OEMs and global aerospace companies.
Aequs today is the only Indian aerospace manufacturer to deliver a seamless end-to-end manufacturing value stream to global OEMs. All the facilities have necessary statutory approvals, including numerous quality certifications and accreditations that are prerequisites for the aerospace industry, including NADCAP accreditation for chemical processing, surface treatments, and NDT as well as AS9100D certification for its quality management system (QMS).
