Paris Airshow 2019
The 53rd edition of the Paris Air Show held at Le Bourget represented the second consecutive participation of Aequs Aerospace in the world’s largest Air Show event. It was a great opportunity for us to meet many of our valued customers at various levels, from operational teams to senior executives and delegates. A few contracts were even signed during the event, especially with SAFRAN, one of our key clients.
Both existing customers and new potential clients were deeply impressed by the growth of our global aerospace ecosystem in Belgaum, India, and our capability to go up the value chain in order to deliver new innovative manufacturing solutions to the industry. The Aequs Special Economic Zone has grown considerably since the last Bourget edition and it was the perfect occasion to update our various stakeholders on the new developments.
The parts displayed in Aequs Aerospace booth were an intelligent mix of structural and actuation parts in hard metal and soft metal manufactured by both our Indian and French facilities which truly showcased the capabilities of Aequs on a global scale.
In addition to our clients, it was also a chance for us to reconnect with our suppliers, partners and our France team which are all necessary elements to our success.
Many of the 320,000 visitors to the Paris Air Show 2019, boasting over 2400 exhibitors, had the chance to walk by our booth, some even stopping for a quick chat over coffee, tea & snacks, many leaving their business cards and, in some cases, their resume in the hope of joining the Aequs family in the near future.
